I started up Sarah Soto PhotoGraphics in 2007, but my passion for photography began back in my sophomore year of college in 2001. It was my first photography class, where I got to work with black and white film, and darkroom print making that I was hooked with the magic of creating imagery from light. I worked a few years in portrait studios doing photography and image enhancements where I learned the “proper” techniques of photography, but it wasn’t until I broke away from the monotony of perfect exposure that I was able to get back to the basics of what drew me into the art form of photography in the first place. Finding the light and the spark that draws us together. It’s about telling a story, and capturing a moment that gives my clients joy each time they view it.
